MSUMag to Build New Multi-Purpose Facility Worth 15M Funded by Cong. Tong Paglas
MSU-Maguindanao headed by Chancellor Bai Hejira M. Limbona held its groundbreaking ceremony for a new Multi-Purpose Building on January 14, 2024. The facility which is set to be constructed with a funding of 15 million pesos funded by Congressman Mohammad “Tong” Paglas of the Lone District of Maguindanao del Sur, is expected to be completed in 185 days.

Chancellor Limbona represented by Madame Angelita T. Datucan conveyed that after two years, the request has been granted to establish this multi-purpose building to support our students’ welfare. His sponsorship has provided the MSUans to have a safe space for and will inspire them to pursue their education at MSU.
Congressman Paglas represented by Rowaida L. Masukat, MPA, emphasized the importance of the project, stating that the building represents more than just a structure-it reflects a collective commitment to advancing education and empowering the youth of Maguindanao del Sur. “I firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of progress and opportunity. When we invest in education, we are investing in the future of every family, community, and our province,” he said. “Through this project, we are demonstrating that the future of our youth is important to us.”
In attendance during the groundbreaking ceremony were the Cong. Tong Paglas’ representatives, Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors, and students of MSU-Maguindanao.
