Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, together with Dr. Raquel Santiago-Arenas, Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension, and Dr. Arceli B. Naraga, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development, participated in the 2025 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM). Organized by Department of Budget and Management Secretary and PH-OGP Chair Amenah F. Pangandaman, the event brought together over 800 participants from 77 countries. It was held from February 5-7, 2025, at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines.

This aligns with the university’s Five-Year Development Plan under Key Result Area 5: “Assuring Transparent & Accountable Governance.” The regional meeting convened government officials, civil society leaders, and policymakers from the Asia-Pacific, along with global and regional partners, to evaluate progress in open government initiatives and address key regional challenges. The program featured high-level ministerial sessions, interactive breakout discussions, networking opportunities, and various side events.
