MSUMag Advances Local Governance Through 7S and Productivity Training

Mindanao State University – Maguindanao, in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) headed by Minister Muslimin G. Sema, conducted a three-day Capacity Building Seminar on 7S Methodology, Productivity Enhancement, and Labor and Human Productivity (LHP) on May 26–28, 2025, at the Institute of Management.

Chancellor Bai Hejira M. Limbona affirmed the university’s role in advancing public service. She emphasized that investing in people is essential to fostering excellence, professionalism, and inclusive development across the Bangsamoro region.

The seminar aimed to introduce the principles of the 7S Methodology, guide the development of action plans for local implementation, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in municipal offices. The initiative supports MSU-Maguindanao’s alignment with ISO and PRIME-HRMO standards and reflects its commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and governance.

Participants included personnel from Barangay Ambolodto in Datu Odin Sinsuat (DOS), the municipalities of Datu Blah Sinsuat (DBS) and Matanog, along with selected MSU-Maguindanao faculty and staff. The university also extends its gratitude to sponsors — Office of MP Hashemi Dilangalen, Yasser Omar Sema, Rasol Y. Mitmug, Jr., Faizal Karon, and Cotabato City Mayor Bruce Matabalao — for their invaluable support. Through continued collaboration, MSU-Maguindanao remains committed to promoting productivity, empowerment, and inclusive growth in local communities.

The activity was spearheaded by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development (OVCPD), the Quality Management System Services Office (QMSSO), and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).
