MSUMag’s 1st Chancellor’s Cup
#MSUMag | Mindanao State University-Maguindanao held its 1st Chancellor’s Cup in celebration of its 50th Founding Anniversary in October 2023. The ceremony kicked off in March 2023, with the primary objectives of promoting physical fitness, providing opportunities for skills and talent enhancement, strengthening the core values of the university, and encouraging fitness among the students and employees on campus. The cup was open to participation for all constituents of the university.
The preliminary games for Basketball and Volleyball Men were held in March 2023 and continued on May 2, 2023. The elimination games for Volleyball Women, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Chess Men and Women took place on April 26-28, 2023. The championship games are set to begin this Friday. These games will be the culmination of a successful, 1st Chancellor’s Cup. In preparation for the first-ever MSU-Maguindanao Sports Leagues, the Sports Development Office led the listing of all interested students from the various colleges and departments in the campus during the same week. This is a great opportunity for the university’s constituents to showcase their skills and talent in various sports events.
