#MSUMag | In a significant display of support for education, Mindanao State University – Maguindanao distributed cash allowances amounting to 7,500 pesos to 389 Iskolars of the University for the first semester of 2022-2023 through the Tulong Dunong Program, UNIFAST, and CHED 12. This distribution was facilitated by the Admissions Office, Scholarship Office, and Cashiering Office on August 29, 2023 at the BSS Grandstand.
The Tulong Dunong Program, one of the scholarship programs offered by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), is designed to provide cash assistance to Filipino students to support their education. To be eligible for this program, students are required to maintain a general weighted average (GWA) of at least 80%.
The Iskolars conveyed their sincere appreciation to both the university and CHED-TDP for their semester stipends. It is through such efforts and collaboration that educational institutions can create lasting impacts on the lives of students.
