MSU-Maguindanao CECS Students Bag Top 2 in Tractor Parts Identification at 27th PSABE-PPG Mindanao Wide Convention
#MSUMagAt50 | The College of Engineering and Computer Studies (CECS) students from MSU-Maguindanao bagged the Top 2 rank in Tractor Parts Identification and Top 4 in the Tractor Rodeo and Jingle Competition at the 27th Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (PSABE) – PPG Mindanao Wide Convention, themed “Bugsay Bayaw: A voyage to a greener and food-secured Philippines through Innovations in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.” The convention, held from February 26-29, 2024, at Caraga State University in Ampayon, Butuan City, involved 14 participating universities nationwide.
The PSABE-PPG Mindanao Wide Convention served as a platform for students to grasp on latest advancements and best practices in agricultural and biosystems engineering. Engaging in activities such as plenary talks, the ABE Diorama competition (constructing a miniature model farm), CAD Challenge, Tractor Rodeo, Quiz Bowl, and the Pabesugay enabled them to demonstrate their knowledge in the field. This involvement underlined the college’s dedication to cultivating versatile agricultural and biosystems engineers, as a source of inspiration for future generations to embrace innovation and contribute to a greener and food-secure Philippines.
