29 MSU-Maguindanao students Receives CHED’s Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition

#MSUMagAt50 | Mindanao State University-Maguindanao received educational cash assistance under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition (SMART) program on January 22, 2024, at Training Center Hall A.

Congressman Mohamad “Tong” P. Paglas, Sr. Al-Hadj of the Lone District of Maguindanao del Sur, represented by his district coordinator, Mr. Cabili Sinsuat Jr., provided financial support for twenty-nine (29) students. Each student received 25,000 as educational cash assistance under the CHED’s SMART program.

This effort exemplifies the collaborative partnership among Tong Paglas’ office, relevant government entities, and educational institutions to empower students through high-quality education.

Present were VCAA Ms. Jocelyn Santoceldes, Ms. Rhodora Cogonon, Ms. Jeanly Erfe from CHED-XII Office, VCAA Dr. Marissa N. Parcon, Admissions and Scholarship Officer Mr. Jhon Carlo N. Parcon, DSA Director Ms. Julmaherria Salipada, along with faculty members, staff, and selected students.
