MSU-Maguindanao Charts Future Course with 2024 Strategic Planning
#MSUMagAt50 | In continuation of the Five-Year Development Plan (FYDP) Review and Assessment conducted on January 5-6, 2024, a strategic planning session for the year 2024 was led by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development (OVCPD) on February 24th. The session was held at the Simeon Datumanong Hall located at the MSU-Maguindanao Tamontaka Campus.
The strategic planning session covered insightful presentations and discussions focused on crafting and revising the university’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the framework of the FYDP. The OVCPD provided the vision for the university’s future trajectory.
VCAF Madame Angelita Datucan highlighted the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and growth. Ms. Hanissa Baraguir, Head of the Quality Management and System Services Office (QMSSO), provided an overview of the activity, setting a thorough critiquing of the university’s KPIs.
Presentations and critical examination of the KPIs formed part of the planning process. With the active participation of the deans of colleges, the director of ILSHS, and heads of administrative offices, Ms. Aisa Kasan, VCRE Dr. Raquel Arenas, Dr. Arceli Naraga, and Engr. Bai Aljannah Macalandong presented and discussed the revised KPIs for Key Result Areas (KRAs) 1 through 5, offering insights into the university’s performance across various key aspects.
VCPD Dr. Arceli B. Naraga also presented other development plans, including the proposed expansion of Graduate Studies into a full-fledged Institute of Management and a revision of the university’s organizational structure. The activity also revisited the calendar of activities for the academic year 2024 – 2025.
