This project, funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Acts of the Bangsamoro (GAAB) Fund with a budget of PhP 750,000 allocated for survey, research, and development, reinforces the commitment to climate action expressed by MSU-Maguindanao and MAFAR-BARMM during the 4th International Conference on Environment and Forest Conservation (ICEFC) in November 2023.

The program concluded in the official commencement of this collaborative effort, where both parties expressed their enthusiasm for the positive impact they anticipate this partnership will have on the fisheries sector, local communities, and the BARMM region as a whole.
