As the 63rd founding anniversary celebration of Mindanao State University (MSU) opened yesterday, September 1, at MSU-Marawi, the Rawaten Cultural Gala was held, where numerous MSU campuses showcased their unique culture through a compelling performance.
The Gandingan Cultural Dance Troupe (GCDT), representing MSU-Maguindanao, brought ‘kilig’ to the audience as they proudly showcased the Maguindanaon wedding culture with a touch of romance.
Under the expertise of Professor OsmeΓ±a Kasim, the group was able to perform successfully.
As they go back to their alma mater, lasting memories are brought within them and the pride to be part of the MSU community.
The event is also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA), Dr. Marissa N. Parcon, Center for Cultural Affairs (CCA) director, Ma’am Norhana P. Maguid, GCDT Assistant Coordinator, Sir Badrudin U. Ebad, and Sir Florentino L. Grantos.
