PRC PRB for Agriculture Conducts Inspection and Monitoring for the Practice of Agriculture at MSUMag

One of the flagship programs of MSU-Maguindanao, the College of Agriculture, underwent an Inspection and Monitoring by the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) for Agriculture, conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on February 18–19, 2025.

Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona emphasized that this aligns with the university’s vision of producing competent graduates who will contribute meaningfully to the agriculture sector and the development of communities. Through this partnership with PRC, MSU-Maguindanao continues to uphold its responsibility in shaping future leaders in agriculture.

The inspection aimed to assess the university’s compliance with national standards for licensure examinations, ensuring that its facilities, workforce, curriculum, and learning materials align with professional regulatory requirements so that the university provide a high-quality learning environment for students and future agricultural professionals.

Hon. Emma K. Sales, Chairperson of the PRB for Agriculture, commended the university’s progress and reiterated her commitment to prioritizing schools with low passing rates to help improve their performance. She encouraged the university, stating, “We hope more and more will join [in becoming top-performing schools], and that includes you.”

Also present were Hon. Anastacia G. Notarte, Member of the PRB of Agriculture; Janice D. Secreto, Senior Professional Regulations Officer; Jade Mark B. Siladan, Professional Regulations Officer II; and Sonny Machan, PRC personnel. From MSU-Maguindanao, attendees included VCAF Madame Angelita Datucan, VCRE cum Dean of Agriculture, Dr. Raquel D. Santiago-Arenas, faculty members from the College of Agriculture, college officers, and administrative staff.
