52Beyond | MSU–Maguindanao began another year of celebrating its milestones and progress as students, faculty, and staff came alive to mark the 52nd Founding Anniversary on October 6, 2025. The celebration began with a parade, where each college carried banners bearing their team monikers.
Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona shared an inspiring message on equality and teamwork, saying, “We are here to be equal, to be with one another as we continue to grow. We are grateful to those who have devoted their lives and chosen MSU–Maguindanao as part of their journey. Let us celebrate with unity, inclusivity, and collaboration toward a shared future for humanity.”
The Lighting of the Torch and Oath of Sportsmanship followed, reminding everyone of fair play with the message, “Kalaro kita, hindi kalaban. Kasama kita, hindi kaaway.” The Ceremonial Toss, led by the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Directors, officially marked the start of the sports events.
The program continued with the Unveiling of the 52nd Milestone at the 50th Landmark in front of the University Library, led by Chancellor Limbona, Vice Chancellors, faculty, staff, and students. These milestones recognized the university’s key achievements, including the establishment of the MBHTE Three-Storey Dormitory, the upgrading and improvement of the Academic Building for the College of Agriculture, the Establishment of the MSU–Maguindanao Infirmary Hospital Phase II, the Establishment of MSU–Maguindanao in Paglat (BOR Resolution 531, s. 2024), and the launching of new academic programs such as the Diploma in Environmental Planning, Master of Public Administration major in Healthcare Governance, Master of Science in Sustainable Community Development major in Community Transformation, and Bachelor of Science in Criminology (MSU–Maguindanao in Paglat).
The day ended with the Banner Raising Ceremony and the continuation of sports games at the University Field, embodying the true MSUan heart of unity and inclusivity.
