MSUMag Strengthens Employee Wellness with Free HPV Vaccination Drive

A total of 111 MSU-Maguindanao employees received free Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines on June 13, 2025, at the University’s Infirmary Facility. The vaccination drive was conducted by the Infirmary Personnel and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), in partnership with the Datu Odin Sinsuat District Hospital (DOSDH), with vaccines provided by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, expressed support for the program, recognizing the value of such initiatives in enhancing employee welfare. She emphasized that the vaccination drive was more than just a health activity, it was a statement of the university’s commitment to caring for the people who continue to serve and provide essential services to its constituents.

This effort reflects MSU-Maguindanao’s commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of its workforce. HPV is one of the most common viral infections linked to various cancers, including cervical, anal, and throat cancers. By making the vaccine accessible, the university is taking proactive steps to protect its employees and raise awareness about the importance of early prevention.

The program also supports the university’s broader goal of creating a safe, supportive, and health-conscious campus environment, one where employee wellness is prioritized as a cornerstone of institutional strength.
