MSU-Maguindanao Earns Recognition as Top 7 Performing School at Oathtaking Ceremony for Newly Licensed Social Workers

MSU-Maguindanao proudly ranked 7th among the top-performing social work schools in the 2024 Social Work Licensure Examination (SWLE). The prestigious award was received by Social Work Department Chair Prof. Sarah Jane D. Mokamad, joined by faculty members Dr. Alimodin M. Hassan, Prof. Grant Warren D. Lu, and Prof. Nor Ann D. Abdilla, at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on November 5, 2024.

This marks the second time MSU-Maguindanao has achieved this distinction, previously placing 9th in 2017.

The event was graced by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Commissioner Atty. Erwin M. Enad, along with other notable figures in social work, including Hon. Evangeline M. Guinto, Chairperson of the Philippine Regulatory Board for Social Workers, and additional board members. Representatives from the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. (PASWI), the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc. (NASWEI), over 1,600 new inductees, and their families were also in attendance.

The Social Work faculty members expressed heartfelt gratitude to MSU-Maguindanao’s administration, led by Chancellor Dr. Bai Hejira M. Limbona and Dean Datuali P. Abdula, for their unwavering support. They also extended appreciation to the students, whose hard work and dedication made this achievement possible in this year’s SWLE.
