MSU-Maguindanao celebrates National Women's Month
#MSUMag | The Mindanao State University-Maguindanao joins the whole nation in commemorating National Women’s Month with the theme “WE for gender equality and inclusive society” in accordance with the Presidential Proclamation 227 series of 1988, which declares March as Women’s Role in History Month.
As we celebrate Women’s Role in History Month, all constituents of the University are enjoined to join the various activities to amplify women’s voices including wearing purple-colored tops every Wednesday of March to symbolize our support for gender equality and women empowerment.
The celebration further includes dance exercises, program trivia, and symposiums on the Role of Women during Ramadhan, and harmony kitchen facilitated by the National Women’s Month Committee led by Ms. Nurzaeyna M. Dimalen, which provide a platform to highlight the significant contributions of women to society.
On March 3, 10, and 17, 2023, BPED students successfully led the Dance Exercise which was participated by faculty members, staff and students of the university. The activity aimed to boost the physical and mental health of all participants, develop fitness, improve stamina and foster unity among them.
As the rest of the programs and activities go on, Mindanao State University-Maguindanao sends its warmest greetings to all women on this momentous occasion, the National Women’s Month.

inclusivity.
