Experience the Vibrant Celebration of National Arts Month in MSU-Maguindanao
#MSUMag | The Center for Cultural Affairs Office of MSU-Maguindanao, led by Ms. Norhana P. Maguid, kicked off the National Arts Month celebration during the flag-raising ceremony on March 6, 2023. This month-long celebration honors the artistic excellence and diverse cultural heritage of Filipinos, as proclaimed by Presidential Proclamation No. 683, s. 1991.
With this year’s theme, “ANI NG SINING, BUNGA NG GALING,” the event showcased various activities, including the breathtaking performances of the Gandingan Cultural Dance Troupe (GCDT), teasers of the plays of Sining Kandidilimudan Ensemble (SKE) for the DULAYAWIT, and ceremonial songs led by the Suara Landaw.
The event culminated on March 20, 2023, with the closing performances of the GCDT, SKE, and Suara Landaw, leaving the audience in awe and appreciation of the rich and colorful Filipino culture.
The CCA Office extended its gratitude to all who supported and contributed to the success of the National Arts Month celebration. They encourage everyone to continue to celebrate and preserve our cultural heritage and artistic excellence.
