During his visit, Congressman Paglas Sr. conveyed that part of his plan is to give financial assistance to the graduating students of MSU-Maguindanao who reside in Maguindanao del Sur and that he will be donating a dormitory building to house the students and faculty of the University. He also introduced his medical assistance should the students/employees need it.

Present during the visit were VCAA Dr. Marissa N. Parcon, VCPD Dr. Arceli B. Naraga, Madame Angelita T. Datucan, deans of various colleges, and some faculty members, staff, and student representatives.
