MSU–Maguindanao Joins 1st Digital Health Asia in Hong Kong
Mindanao State University – Maguindanao participated in the 1st Digital Health Asia Conference held at the City University of Hong Kong, organized by Times Higher Education and the CityU Institute of Digital Health on September 8-10, 2025.
The event gathered over 400 delegates from 17 countries and featured 47 speakers and experts who discussed digital ecosystems, AI in healthcare, and inclusive innovations for underserved communities across Asia.
The university’s participation was made possible through Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, as part of MSU–Maguindanao’s initiative to engage in global digital health discussions, build international linkages, and explore innovative solutions to improve healthcare access and delivery in the communities it serves.
MSU- Maguindanao was represented by Dr. Firkhan A. Estrella, University Physician; Asst. Prof. Datu Nazrullah Abdul Rauf S. Macalandong, Information System Planner; Asst. Prof. Prudence A. Fuentes, CIEC Technical Assistant; and Mr. Yusseph P. Untong, Special Assistant to the OVCPD.
