MSU-Maguindanao undergoes Level 1 Online Program Accreditation Survey
Mindanao State University – Maguindanao, headed by Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, concluded a Level 1 Online Program Accreditation Survey on July 8 to 12, 2024, at the Tamontaka Campus. A total of eight programs, seven graduate programs, and one undergraduate program underwent evaluation.
The programs assessed were:
*Master of Arts in English Language (MAELT)
*Master of Science in Education major in General Science (MSciEd – General Science)
*Master of Science in Education major in Secondary Mathematics (MSciEd – Secondary Mathematics)
*Master of Science in Farming Systems (MS – FS)
*Master of Science in Animal Science (MS – AS)
*Master of Arts in Peace and Development (MAPDS)
*Master of Public Administration (MPA)
*Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Community Development (BS – SCD)
The AACCUP Accreditation team, headed by President Dr. Gregorio Gamboa, Jr., and Executive Director Dr. Milabel E. Ho, was represented by two cluster coordinators.
The survey began with a virtual opening ceremony on July 8, 2024, where MSU-Maguindanao officials welcomed the accreditation team. The following days involved document evaluation and program visits. The process concluded on July 12, 2024, with the accreditation team sharing preliminary findings with the evaluated programs.
The collaborative efforts of the administration, vice chancellors, deans, program coordinators, faculty, staff, students, other officials, alumni, and stakeholders highlighted the university’s readiness to meet and exceed educational standards. This achievement not only indicates successful accreditation but also reaffirms the university’s commitment to providing quality education and contributing meaningfully to societal progress.
