MSU-Maguindanao Inks MOA with Paglat Municipal College to Formalize its Integration as an Extension Campus
The Memorandum of Agreement between Mindanao State University-Maguindanao, headed by Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, and Paglat Municipal College, represented by the Municipal Mayor of Paglat, Hon. Raisa P. Langkuno, was formally signed on October 17, 2024, at Paglat Municipal College.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) marks the initial step towards integrating Paglat Municipal College (PMC) as a branch of Mindanao State University-Maguindanao. However, this move is still subject to deliberation of the System University Council, followed by the final approval of the Board of Regents before the partnership can be formally established.
In attendance during the ceremonial signing were Vice-Mayor Sagandingan M. Gumonsang, Engr. Abdulkarim T. Langkuno, Alhadj, Hon. Jayhan M. Langkuno, members of the Sanggunian Bayan, MILF and MNLF commanders, the school superintendent and principals, and the SK Federation President. From MSU-Maguindanao, attendees included VCRE Dr. Raquel D. Santiago-Arenas, VCAA Dr. Marissa N. Parcon, Dr. Joel C. Arenas, Dean of College of Education, Dr. Datuali P. Abdula, Dean of College of Public Affairs and Governance, and Dr. Tahir K. Salipada, the University Registrar.
