Fifty-One for Everyone: A Grand Start to MSU-Maguindanao’s 51st Founding Anniversary

On October 5, 2024, MSU-Maguindanao kicked off a week-long celebration for its 51st Founding Anniversary. The activities began with an opening ceremony that filled the campus with a celebratory atmosphere.

 

The day started with a Saludo Parade, where all colleges and departments, including the MSU College of Law Maguindanao Extension and the Parang Campus, marched in unison across the field. Each group displayed their colorful banners and uniforms. The parade was followed by the Opening Salvo and the Oath of Sportsmanship, emphasizing fair play and teamwork among participants.

A Bench Yell Competition added to the festive mood. Afterward, the campus came alive with sports games, including softball, sepak takraw, and traditional games. In addition, the banner-raising ceremony further intensified the excitement for the week ahead.

Friendship games between the Parang Campus, MSU College of Law, and the Institute of Management contributed to the day’s excitement. The field echoed with cheers as participants competed in basketball and volleyball.
