History of CPAG

History is the study of past events encompassing the evolution, development and achievements of human societies. It involves examining and analyzing the past, through documented evidence, artifacts, and literature. History helps us to understand the past and how it has shaped the present. It also provides insights into our culture, politics, economy, and technology. The study of history can deepen our understanding of the human experience by enabling us to better understand change, continuity, and causation. It can also teach us about different social, cultural, and ideological perspectives that have shaped our world. Studying history can inspire us to appreciate the present and prepare us for the future by understanding the challenges and opportunities of our time.

Programs Offered

The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE in FISHERIES  aims to:

  1. To produce globally competitive graduates in the areas of sustainable aquaculture, capture fisheries, post-harvest and aquatic resources and ecology.
  2. To foster fisheries professionals imbued with integrity, leadership, service, nationalism, and ethical standards.
  3. To enrich students’ knowledge and skills in research and innovation.
  4. To develop reliable leaders who are responsive to the needs of the fisheries sector.
  5. To internationalize students’ perspectives that can adapt to universal trend in the field of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.
  6. To imbibe the concepts of peace, peace building, diversity, inclusiveness, and cultural respect in the curriculum as part of the Fisheries profession.
